(You
come across a pack of matches that sets off a series of uncanny events.
Start your story with “My mother always told me not to play with fire.”
End it with “And that’s how I ended up in the middle of
nowhere—naked.”)
My mother always told me to never play with fire. So when I found a box of matches I grew curious and picked it up. When I opened it there weren't any matches - it was full of diamonds. I closed the box, slid it in my pocket and decided to find the rightful owner after my shift in the mythril mines.
The mines were full of dangers such as sudden falls down shafts, and the cave-ins that killed twenty out of one-hundred miners a year. Still, there was a line of people waiting to get into the mine, despite repeated warnings about the risks.
After my shift I went and started to ask around to see if anyone had lost a box of matches. After an hour of asking around I was ready to give up. Just then a wizard approached and asked to see the box of matches. When I handed him the box he blasted me with a fireball and teleported me. That is how I ended up in the middle of nowhere naked - and slightly scorched.
Moral: No good deed goes unpunished.
